Method and Procedure

The research methodology adopted by the researcher has been described in this chapter in detail. Final decisions about techniques used were made after an extensive review of the related literature and keeping in view the expert opinion of the supervisor and the other statistical experts. The study aimed at a training need assessment study on diploma of associate engineering architecture technology.

Population

·         The stakeholders of different groups of companies.

·         Directors/ Principals of different departments of TEVTA Punjab.

·         Women chamber of commerce Lahore.

Sample

To make the data more representative samples are collected from different sectors, which are given below:

·         13 Stakeholders of different group of companies such as unibuilder , AlhabibRafique

·         Director research and development department TEVTA Punjab

·         3  Deputy director research and development department TEVTA Punjab

·         5 Principals of teacher training school  TEVTA Punjab

·         3 President / vice president and secretary women chamber of commerce Lahore

Sample consists of total number of 25 respondents among them 15 males and 10 females.

Research Tool

After studying the relevant literature and with the guidance of the supervisor, the researchers developed a questionnaire consisting of 51 statements. One open ended question was also included. Questionnaire was prepared on the five points Likert scale.
